Dyslexia Network is part of the National Dyslexia Network. We cover York, Harrogate, Humberside, Lincoln and Newark.
Dyslexia Network assesses and supports learners of all ages from 5 to 95. . We are aligned to the Dyslexia Action Associates; who are a body of Psychologists that can support the assessment process. We have a number of teachers and assessors across counties to assess and support you. Dyslexia Network is registered with Disabled Students Allowances Quality Assurance Group to support Higher Education students with Dyslexia.
Catherine Wright is the Director of Dyslexia Network, she was the previous North and Central Regional Manager for Dyslexia Action and has over 25 years experience in education. She has a Masters degree in Disability Studies, a Diploma in SpLD (Dyslexia), a Certificate in Education and is a member of The Dyslexia Guild, PATOSS and the British Psychological Society. She has a wealth of experience teaching children from the age of 5 through to supporting University students and beyond. She is a qualified trainer on Read and Write Gold and support schools and delivers awareness and Dyslexia and co-occurring training course across the country.
Catherine has a team of teachers that work alongside her that are fully qualified and available to support and assess students across the network in school, in the Dyslexia Network centres at Universities and at home.
