government policies

Knowing what the UK Government recommends schools, local authorities and other organisations should offer children, young people and adults is useful to know when finding out about the services that are on offer in your local area. There are hundreds of policies and guidelines. We recommend that you start with the Rose Report, 2009, SEN Code of Practice and Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) Guidance. We also recommend look on your local authority website and search for their Local SEN Offer, along with asking your school, collect or workplace for their SEN and Inclusion policies.

Contact one of our NDN learning centres if you wish to discuss these policies...Remember knowledge is power.
