Supporting Primary Schools

We work with primary schools to support dyslexic learners and those who face literacy and numeracy difficulties by bringing specialist expertise into the primary school environment.

How we can support you:

  • Screening for dyslexia.
  • Diagnosis of dyslexia.
  • Specialist coaching for those with a literacy difficulties or a dyslexic profile.
  • Practical training and information for supporting children with dyslexia, including creating a dyslexia friendly classroom.
  • Specialist support and training for SENDCos.
  • Guidance for school leaders navigating the new SEND policy environment.
  • Staff Inset on Dyslexia, new SEND code of practice, differentiation and Neurodiversity.

 

Supporting Secondary Schools

  • Guidance on ensuring that the learning environment is dyslexia friendly.
  • Form 8 Completion/ Exam access arrangement.
  • Specialist teaching for those with a dyslexic profile and literacy difficulties.
  • Specialist training and support for SENDCOs.
  • Guidance for school leaders navigating the new SEND policy environment.
  • Exam Access Arrangements and further training.
  • Training  bespoke to need.

 

Supporting Further and Higher Education Providers

We work with Further and Higher Education Providers to support dyslexic learners and those who face literacy and numeracy difficulties by bringing specialist expertise into the Higher Education environment. We support those working in and learning within the Further/Higher Education sector by providing a portfolio of assessment, tuition, and innovative educational services. We have a team of staff  available to provide on-site and off-site support, as well as distance learning support via Skype. Our staff are very flexible and can deliver support 6 days a week and meet qualification and experience requirements as well as all quality regulations for the Disabled Students Allowance.

Did you know?

Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty that primarily affects the ability to learn to read and spell.

It often runs in families and stems from a difficulty in processing the sounds in words.
